Many people know the importance of heart rate to sports. But few people know that heart rate is divided into different zones to represent different strength and effect of sports. They are confused when looking at the heart rate zones, like Z1,Z2,Z3,Z4,Z5.

So today, we are going to introduce how to explain and understand these data.

Linwear Smart watch used the Percent of Maximal Heart Rate to divide the different zones.

The maximum heart rate percentage corresponds to Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, Z5. They represent five different kinds of exercise intensity: warm up zone (Z1), fat burning zone (Z2), aerobic exercise zone (Z3), anaerobic exercise zone (Z4), and limit zone (Z5).

So what’s the most suitable exercise for each heart rate zone?

Warm up: it’s a considerably comfortable zone, suitable for some warm up exercises and recovering after exercises.

Fat burning: it is a comfortable and chatty pace, and also the heart rate range with the highest percentage of fat burning.

Aerobic exercise zone: This is the best training pace to improve the medium intensity training ability and efficiency, and help physical basic training.

Anaerobic exercise zone: Marathon recommended zone, in this period you can improve the ability to accept intense and high-speed exercise.

Limit zone:This zone takes anaerobic metabolism as the main energy source, so it cannot be maintained for a long time, and can train lactic acid tolerance and maximal oxygen uptake.

Linwear smart watch use VC30F health monitoring sensor which uses built-in PD and integrates 3 physical channels and 2 adjustable logical channels.

It supports monitoring functions such as high-precision exercise heart rate (HR) and static blood oxygen saturation (SPO2), and has ultra-low power consumption characteristics and living body recognition, suitable for wearable smart devices such as smart watches and smart bracelets.
